Our auto lease calculator is a great tool for deciding which
lease will best fit your needs. A lease will typically last
for two to five years and allows you to use another party’s
property in exchange for a specified payment.
- • Enter ballpark values by clicking on and dragging
the diamond-shaped sliders left or right. Enter exact numbers
by clicking on the number in the box on the right and type
your number (no commas).
• Solve for different variables by clicking on a label
name. A red check mark appears on the label of the variable
for which you are solving. You cannot change red-checked
values.
Lease Term
You can easily examine the four different lease options you
have and determine the best lease situation for you by adjusting
the variables.
Lease Plan
There are four options from which to choose:
True Lease – This is a contract in which the owner
grants you the right to use property for a pre-determined
period of time and then return the property to the owner.
$1 Buyout – This type of lease includes an option
for you to buy the leased property for one $1.
10% Purchase – If you choose this option you will
have the option to buy the leased equipment for 10% of the
original purchase price at the end of your lease.
10% Security – This might be the option for you
if you can afford to pay a 10% security deposit on the lease
amount at the start of the lease because the deposit could
be applied as the buy out at the end of the lease.
Lease Amount
You can quickly determine out how much you can afford to lease
by clicking on this button and entering other variables.
Interest Rate
If you are unsure how much interest you will pay, just click
this button and enter the other variables.
Lease Payment
You will be able to see what affects the monthly lease payment
by clicking this button.
Graph
Our graph displays the average annual costs for the lease
term and plan you have selected. For the purpose of a fair
comparison all tax and license fees as well as maintenance
and insurance costs are ignored and the total cost of leasing
includes only the payments made towards the lease.
